Are you a Busy Hedonist?
You enjoy cooking, eating + entertaining.
You simply don’t have the time to read cookbooks and food magazines looking for something new to make.
You want to perfect your cooking but don’t know where to turn.
Your life is full of work, family activities and social life that what to make for dinner is often a mystery, or worse, a chore.
Your husband/wife/significant other is tired of the same old dinners.
You love to sit around the table: eating, drinking, laughing. (I certainly do.)
If you love food, you’ve definitely come to the right place.
As The Busy Hedonist I understand that we’re all so busy that sometimes we settle for less. We order take-out night after night (how depressing). Or we make the same old standard meals (how boring).
These days our lives might be chaotic, but we still want to enjoy an incredible meal.
Join, me hungry one, because I understand. I’ve made it my mission to help you make a great dish: I’m the woman who hunts down ingredients like other women shop for shoes, seeks out new flavor combinations to cook like others experiment with makeup. I search for unique spices and spend Saturday nights experimenting with oils, vinegars, lemons, spices, wine and the other goodies I keep stocked. During the week you’ll find me at the farmer’s market, or a spice shop, then returning to my kitchen to make dinner. Nights out involve checking out new restaurants to see what chefs are up to. Yes, that’s how I roll these days.
NYC and its abundance of food is my inspiration, but I’d love to inspire you no matter where you live, whether it’s with one recipe you’ll find here on the site or an entire year’s worth.
I believe in the pleasures of a great dish.
So here is your invitation, dear hungry reader, into my kitchen, where I’ll share my discoveries + creations with you. That way you can stop fretting about what to serve night after night.
And be sure to get on the Hedonistic List for recipes, food recommendations + other goodies.
Grab a fork, a glass of wine—and enjoy.
